Integrating Delicious bookmarking service       [ Main ]  [ Extensions ]   [ Extensions (cont) ]

Detailed description:
Go to Configuration->Extensions. If you don't have a del.icio.us account create one by following the “register here” link at the bottom of the extensions section. Once you have an account check the “Enable Account” check-box, enter your user name and password and click “Add Account” button. Your credentials are encrypted and saved locally.

The message “Account succesfully added” appears if everything went OK.
Now you're ready to use the service. To post a bookmark right-click on a headline that rolls then select the “Bookmark with del.icio.us” option

or right-click on the pop-up tray dialog once a new headline is shown:

A new dialog appears:

There are several sections in the dialog which are not complicated to figure.
First is the link to the headline. Second is the original headline title as found in the RSS feed. You can update it or just leave it as is.
Third box is “Notes”. A chunk of the original headline description. Leave it or update it as you like.
Fourth box is Tags. It lets you add any tag name you wish, either a new tag name or an already existing tag from the boxes below:
Your: a list of tags found in your account
Popular: what tag names other people used to bookmark this particular link
Recommended are popular tags that are also in your tag list.
Click on any tag and it will be shown in the Tags box.. Also, once you start typing in the “Tags”box, tag(s) from the boxes below will be suggested in the Suggestions box. Click the suggested tag and it will be shown in the “Tags” box and colored pink in the respective tag box.

Click OK and the headline is posted to your account. You will find it there the next time you navigate to http://del.icio.us/[your-user-name].
